Winter

Around here we didn't have much of a winter until a week or two ago. Time to bring out the skimobiles.
This is a view from on top of the Simcoes.

We needed some heat in the shop and a friend of mine had this wood fireplace so we brought it home. Note the freshy percolator, wouldn't be complete without the freshy!

I think thats about it.

Some last years catching up.

A long about January, Sog and I went to Sd and purchased a vessel that looks remarkably similar to this.
I only had it a short while but it got me around while my other pickup was torn apart. Here is what it looked like before I sold it. As you can see, not much better.
Moving on, right about the time we left Sd for home, Moldy follered right along behind us. Sure enough, shortly after he was moving out. I guess the coyote hunting was much better out here. About June or so I found a horse to buy, he is a real decent 10 year old gelding named Cody.

I have ridden him a few times but its kind of boring riding by myself. Hoping Moldy gets one he can ride sometime here soon. Here is a ride Moldy and I went on.

As you might notice there have been some large gaps, that's because the months in between, there wasn't much of anything important happening or if there was I forgot. Around August happened to be 1 year since my pickup had moved. Also we started to get real busy and as a result I missed most of hunting season. I did call in this bear for a friend of mine I went to school with.

But it wasn't all lost because the weather was too hot to hunt anyway. A month or two later I started calling coyotes again. I did not shoot all of these, Brian got a couple, Kevin got one and another friend got one, but I did call them all in.

Somewhere in there I called a cougar in but didn't get a shot. Also got 2 raccoons and 1 gray digger with my bow.
Sometime in the fall I got the engine back for my pickup and we started putting that back together.
Its back in the pickup now, just waiting on a exhaust manifold and a turbo and it ready to fire.
